Borrowing books from the library
– A student/public may borrow up to four(4) books per time.
– Borrowing duration: 7 days, including weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
NUOL staff, lecturers, researchers & officers
– You may borrow up to seven (7) books per time.
– Borrowing duration: 14 days, including weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
What happens if you may not return the loaned books in due date:
If you do not return the loaned books in due date, you will be fined:
– 1,000 kip per book.
E.g. if you borrow four (4) books and the due date is 20 May 2017, but you then return them on 21 May 2017, and the fine: 4,000 kip in total.
What types of books & documents you may not be allowed to borrow. Check the following:
The Library may not allow you to borrow Theses, Research papers and Reports,
but you can make some photocopies, and read at the Library ONLY.
The Library may not allow you to borrow Reference Books, but you can make some photocopies, and read at the Library ONLY.
The Library may not allow you to borrow Government Documents, but you
can make some photocopies, and read at the Library ONLY.
The Library may not allow you to borrow Rare Documents. Meaning, these
documents might be rare and old, and limited in number. In order to enable other
users to use Rare Documents, we, therefore, may not allow to borrow them.
But you can make some photocopies, and read at the Library ONLY.
